Default Newhall Park Engineering and Fabrication works

Newhall Park Engineering and Fabrication works - Jilland Group

I found another nice little explore locally to me. Reminded me of a much smaller "bridon wire works" its quite large but is pretty much gutted. Its just a shell of former building now. It does have a bit of a quirky charm that I love about it tho.

I found some info of the place on This website and the reason for its abandonment was Creditors Voluntary liquidation the deficiency being 580,619.00.

    On with the photos!

I sorta think the building has a face... and its hungry.

I have loads more that im currently playing around with.

Ah yes me and Pirate spotted this on our Swadlincote/Burton trip a while back now, I think he got some photos but didn't post 'em here.

Doesn't seem to have changed much since then :)

Fabulous looking building, NG. See what you mean about the 'face'.
Nice find...look forward to seeing more pics. :)

DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
