With apologies for my third pillbox post of the day - I promise to stop going through my old Lightroom albums forthwith!

In Lower Denford, just off the A4 near Hungerford, and just across the Kennet and Avon Canal from the Dunmill Lock pillboxes I posted earlier today, this pillbox is to be found. Pics taken a while ago, on two separate occasions.

Thanks for your comments guys.

I am no pillbox expert - I just happen to live in a well pillboxed area, next to the Kennet & Avon Canal, which happens to form one side of the island I live on. During my daily train ride from Newbury to Reading I can see at least 6 or 8 PBs, all different, and there are numerous others nearby.

But I do agree that these seem to be quite unusual bricks. This PB is in a lovely spot, a minute from the K&A, and next to a stream popular with ducks. In fact, a local duck, almost certainly called Bill, is visible in one of the pix.
