    Hi Braveheart
Just checked and found this post by Spitfire for RAF Bentwaters. Unfortunately all the pics just come up as red x's for me (might be my browser).

Also found this post from Simon

And this one for RAF Woodbridge by Spitfire. Same thing with the pics.

    Cheers

Your a bit too late for Bentwaters tbh. The hangers are full of chickens and the rest has been used to film verious crap TV shows. I think the village has been sold off but no 100% sure. Alot of the land is now farmland.

I visited about 10years ago on a school trip and it was great, a proper deserted ghost town. We got to see in the sports centre and theater and got driven around the airfield but the didnt let us ino the hospital or control tower or anything good! then again we were only 11 at the time :D

AFAIK Woodbridge is still MOD owned? its definatly still live

It's a shame it's not being preserved as a cold war relic.

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
