Default Former Service Station A303 Westbound

This is a follow up of my last posting which showed the remains of the eastbound services at Weyhill. This side of the services are more complete as they were just closed down and did not suffer a fire.

Nicely done getting both sides, certainly satisfied my curiosty as to what state they are in these days! I think i read somewhere that they were unlikely to ever reopen as services and that one side was possibly going to be redeveloped as a distribution center, but i could be wrong...

IMO a secure lorry park would be helpful lol

Glad both sides are here now, feels more complete

Often wondered what was left here now I know.

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
