South Devon Railway.

I was lucky/unlucky enough to have been about since 1948, those pics bring back some very happy memories.

what a site! love seeing old trains n stuff, loving the pics too guys, real good job by all, four in one day...top work!
P.S. Sorry I missed out Scotty, but the jelly n ice-cream was yummy

Excellent stuff chaps. They are absolute mint...even the shabbier ones are classy.
I thought this railway still ran as a tourist thing. Or am I thinking of a different one (Dartmouth?).
Really nice pics, btw. :)

For a bunch of disused old trains they really in minters condition! Great pictures from both of you thanks for sharing xx

WOW, I love steam trains. I love those seats in first class, no wonder they paid so much, a lot better than the first class seats on trains nowadays. Were you sitting in second class? they look a litter better than the other grey seats. Love the engraved glass on the partitions. And the steam train, I absolutely love that.

Excellent pics guys, love it.

Cheers,

:) Sal

Excellent work chaps! :)

Enjoyed looking through these. What a difference between today's plastic trains and these beauties!
We still have some old stock Intercity 125 diesel's on the main line here, with the "slam-shut" doors, vertically sliding windows, and some old BR logos here and there :)

Thanks for sharing,
