    Post Papworth Catholic Church

Akin to my post on Papworth Publishing I am unable to find out much information about this church. Looking on Google Street View I know that it was boarded up in 2008 so I know it has been like this for over 7 years.

Access was gained through the Reconciliation Room or, as it was more affectionately known, the "Sket Room":

Which lead onto the main hall:

By the looks of it the room had been used by some youths, but that was just judging from the empty alcohol bottle on the table.

The corner of the hall housed the old electronic organ:

Finding my way to the old entrance I found a small community room:

This room was also home to another organ:

The kitchen had some nice flooring:

    Thanks for looking!

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
