Made a little revisit to this old redundant church as it was a very wet and dreary day.situated off a small country road and next to a few houses and a small manor.you can see why it became redundant with hardly a parish there.like so many of these redundant churches I can only guess they were heavily used when farming communities were bigger and they all attended church on a Sunday.the tower is the oldest part being built in the twelve century.the north aisle and nave are original.but the main church was built in the forteenth century and fifteenth century, the octagonal top was added to the tower in the nineteenth century.sorry there are no externals the weather was horrific leaving.the church closed in 1961 and is designated grade two listed.it is now under the churches conservation trust.
