A place i've wanted to visit for a very long time.
Since I was heading the right direction, I stopped off and explored this old care home. History isn't very visible. It seems to have closed down sometime around 2000. Unfortinetly things that used to be there are gone, like the albums. Besides that, many personal memories are still around the whole house, most of which are decaying heavily. I loved the old black and white photographs.
The house it's self is really falling apart. I went up the first set of stairs and turned away when I saw the last few had fallen down. I went up the other set instead, and i'm lucky to have explored every single room in the house without any fails. The stairs leading to the attic rooms are a death trap for the unsuspecting magpie. It won't surprise me if those stairs all fall down, along with the upstairs rooms.
Exploring this was an experience, and I enjoyed it, it's full of memories. 57 photos were uploaded to flickr. I've cut them down on here.
