Default Parkside hotel, Pontefract - December 2016

The Parkside Hotel dates back over 200 years ago to when It was the Parkside farm, the original farm house is still standing there but has been left empty since 2009.

After the closure of the hotel it has been burnt out on a few different occasions and as you can see, now in 2017 there is not much left of it.

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
