Arrow Six ROC posts in one day - June 08

Today, while out on the road working between sites I managed to visit six ROC posts.

Some good, some bad, some locked, some open.

First up was Crossland Moor, back filled and totally not accessable :(

Next was Holmfirth ROC, dry, unlocked and great

Next was Sowerby Bridge, compound was mega secure and the post locked.

Next up was Todmorden, open but trashed

After work was complete, ROC Post Dunsop Bridge was ocked and welded

Lastly, Longridge ROC locked, welded and a secure steel bar LOL

    ROC Mission complete

Even thought they're all very similar I still find ROC posts interesting. Looks like a good day exploring there!

Is the fence around Soweby the original one? Looks more purposeful than others I've seen around ROC posts.

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
