Presuming that this property is situated on the land located between the Motorway and the Low Moor Drain -
1/ The property is the Keeper's Cottage situated on land called Wrawby Moor and clearly marked on the relevant OS maps.
2/ The property is the old Shooting Lodge that is situated on land called Great Moor. I have only seen written references to this property and have never found a map showing its location. The references state that this building was constructed using an early form of poured in situ concrete, although it appeared that some of the demolished structures (after WW2) were also constructed in this manner.
If it is the Keeper's Cottage then there should be a small outbuilding nearby, and one should be able to confirm using map and ground sightings (of Motorway etc) that it is the Keeper's Cottage. If location does not agree with map then building is the Lodge. However, there is just a chance that both building names refer to the same building; it being multi-functional and only used as a shooting Lodge when shoots were taking place, at other times it was used as accommodation by the keeper for that parcel of land. There are many examples of single roomed keeper's cottages to be found in the UK - the land owners of the period wanted single men who would devote all their time to protecting and nurturing the game, with no distraction from home comforts!
