History / Information
Tyting farm is an 89-acre farm, set in the rolling Surrey hills, as part of the 'London Green Belt'. Once home to a Victorian manor house, this was demolished in 1957, to make way for the now un-noteworthy modern farmhouse.
Once a showpiece - standard farm, it has now fallen into disrepair and decay. The place is covered in Security stickers, as at one point it housed a fairly large number of gypsies, and the signage seems to be to deter this from occurring again. Now the farm is owned by the council, and still has an undecided future.
The Explore
A nice relaxed explore this one, with total free roam of the site, with very few locked rooms (though when we returned for a second time in August, a lot of these rooms seemed to be open? There also seems to be fresh-looking brickwork underneath the entrance arch, suggesting work is currently being done/has been done to it recently.
