Default Lockkeepers cottage, Grantham canal July 2016

It's been done before but I'll do it again. This is my first, I picked a nice walk in case I didn't find it.

Sorry, i'm no photographer. I had a great time though.

So I stopped off along the way to check out this bridge

Then carried on to Woolsthorpe bottom lock

It was hard to see though the summer shrubbery but I got there in the end.

    Nice scenery

so many sheds to explore here

    ammo boxes laying around everywhere

    outside in

    good ol' frey bentos

    it runs!

    brew anyone?

Not too bad for a first report. A few more photos would not go amiss.

Like HughieD I know this place well. Very nicely captured, you have a good eye for the important details that makes a report interesting and personal, nothing wrong with your images at all. Keep up the good work, look forward to seeing more of your work in the future.

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
