Had a possibly final chance to get out and about with my camera before we end up in a total lockdown situation, so decided to keep it local and check out a few things that had been bugging me for a while.
I found this place last year and on my first look, decided to skip it due to it's proximity to a very operational military base which had a lot of activity going on in the compound next door to it, the site is also directly opposite one of the guarded entrance gates so we thought discretion the better option there and moved on!
Thankfully all seemed quiet on my return and we got in without fuss. After negotiating the deep moat of water surrounding 2/3s of the building we found a way in and I honestly didn't know what to expect from here at all. On initial inspection it looked just like a bog standard set of derelict barns/agricultural buildings and whilst it had obviously been used for that purpose we started seeing more and more things to tie it in with the military base nearby, whether it had been used for storage by them I don't know but there were a few cool things to see. Weirdly too the tractor parked inside one of the covered areas looked like it had been there for ages but the tax on it only ran out last year.
I didn't get too many outside shots due to it's somewhat exposed location, but it was nice to finally see inside even though it left me with more questions than answers.
Thanks for looking
