    Aircraft firing butts at the old Speke airport/ R.A.F. Speke site.Most of the airfield /airport is now a business park,but this building remains,along with a pillbox and other remains (in the woods) on the S.W. side of the buiness park/airfield boundary.

    Try this;

    for an individual photo,

    Make sure you have two Internet Explorer tabs open on your Desktop. One displaying your Derelict Places posting message box and one displaying the Photobucket login screen. You will be switching between these during posting. Click means left click.

    1. Login to photobucket
    2. Click the 'All Albums' tab at top left of page.
    3. Click the album that contains the photo you want to display.
    4. Click on the individual photo you want to display. The screen will refresh to show your chosen photo as a larger image on it's own.
    5. To the left of the displayed photo is a 'share this image' box. At the bottom of this box is an IMG code, click the IMG code (which will start [IMG]http://: etc)
    Clicking on this code will copy it.

    Now

    6. Return to the Derelict Places message box, position your mouse cursor where you wish the photo to appear in your post and click. Then, whilst holding down the ctrl key on your keyboard press the 'v' key once. This will paste the IMG code into your post.
    7. To check that this has worked, click the 'Preview Post' tab below the message box. You should see your chosen photo in all it's glory.

    Repeat this process for all photos you want to display.

    Hope that helps.

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
