Today i visited The Royal Wooden Blanket Factory, also know as Aabe.
This factory started in 1816 under the name Beka, later with the name Aabe.
In its topdays they 1250 employees worked at this factory.
The factory also made textile for planes in the 1990's and for that reason they became into trouble after the attack on the twintowers.
This and other reasons get the company in financial trouble which caused the bankrupt in 1996.
Aabe was situated in the dutch town Tilburg, well know for its textile factories.
