Had a nice drive around the north of the island this afternoon and did lots of little explores, this was one of them.
Andreas Airfield had a short life with the RAF. It opened October 1941 and closed October 1946. Many buildings still stand today, including the derelict control tower. The airfield has three runways and parts of the site are now used for flying training.
