A recent day out with Magpie421, Renrutt, LeedsExplorer and H1971 saw us attempt 3 sites and (for a change) get inside all of them. The second visit of the day saw us enter cotton mill territory where it seemed you could not drive more than 50 meters before coming to yet another massive abandoned mill building. We had our eyes on one in particular - Bailey Mill.
There was some really nice machinery on the ground floor that, thanks to the near complete darkness, allowed for some playing around with torch lighting and shadows. As we ventured up the building was much mores sparse but with nice little reminders here and there of the building's previous life. Due to water damage the floorboards seemed to have the approximate strength of soggy cardboard and I have rarely felt as nervous exploring as I did on the top floor stepping around the foot sized holes in the rotten boards.
