Billybanks Twilight..

The former Billybanks Estate in Penarth, Vale of Glamorgan is under demolition currently. The site is locked up pretty tight and entry is no really an option. It's been a pretty popular topic on Urbex forums over the last few years.
These pictures were taken from outside the site today and show the clearing of debris around the buildings ready for the final phase of demolition. Bye-bye Billies.. Hello 'Penarth Heights...'

First block gone - need to get a 'long shot' of the altering skyline in Penarth.. Communist style flats no more...
