Decided to have a look at a couple of sites the other side of the bridge today, it was a early start and I was again on my own. Two hours later I got to my first stop which was Bourton Mill (Coming soon) but I thought I would start with this one. Its been covered a lot on here and I wanted to see for myself what the place was like. I drove towards the main gate and found it was like Fort Knox, so I found myself a parking spot away from the place and using the satnav on my phone managed to get into the place. But only to find piles of rubble where the buildings once stood, then I spotted a building through the trees and headed for it and this is what I found
Its quite spooky being on you own, from the time I got near the place there were dogs barking, with the wind there were doors slamming and more than I few times I thought I could hear footsteps and voices. In the end I was there for about a hour and only manage four of the buildings but I was happy to have at least seen some of it and take in what it must have been like there while being used.
Anyway, here are a few of my photos (There are a lot of corridor shots, that's because every where I turned there was one.) with the rest here

I met this fella a couple of times down the boys village
And the last shot before I walked out of the door, great place but I don't think I will be going back (Never say never)
Thanks for looking (And telling me about the place)
