Hi all just a quick few shows of the grave yard in Haworth, West Yorkshire. Best known for being the home of the Bronte Family It is estimated that 40,000 people are buried in the churchyard, the burial registers go back to 1645.

Ooh, I do like this. It's an area I've wanted to visit ever since having read the Bronte's books back along.
Very interesting and imposing looking gravestones. Nice pics, tbk.
Welcome to Dp, btw. :)

I have walked through that graveyard a few times at Haworth on the way down to the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway. Its a charming little Church and the Brontes house is just at the back if I remember.:)
