I was in the area so I thought I would check it out. The post "mound" is visble from the (limited) car park at Port Mulgrave. However there was no obvious way to it Just deep furrows of a ploughed field between us. So I had a wander along the coastal path to see if there was a better route. The post was built on a ridge which created the field boundry so that was my route.
As I got near I noticed that the access shaft was almost at ground level.

And the vent shaft was in good condition

But The Hatch was missing.

But worse still the shaft had been filled with soil:mad:
