Visited in February with Stevec047, Urbex, and Someone07 met up with us a bit later on.
British sugar vacated the site in 2001 and moved operations to the Bury St Edmunds and Cantley sites. This was a really good explore, managed to get into new places we hadn't seen before, and admin had many little treasures to see.
Thanks guys for a great day of turd and boiler suits The biggest buzz ever was hearing security coming, and seeing them walking right past, and shutting tight our access point that we had found!! Then after lying low for 20 mins finally leaving to find a white van at our exit point, AND THEN having a police car turn up at or exit!! As I looked like i was going shopping with my handbag I thought sod it, i'm going, copper smiled at me and I was free. BIZZARRE!!! Thanks to Someone07 for keeping us in the loop with what was going on outside!! Finally both van and cops left, we had three close shaves, but seemed to all be very strange coincidences as they were not looking for us!!
