iffy pics as my camera playing up..
used to mine tin and tunsten although listed for uranium
some pics..
from the side of the road, its clearly visable but unable to tell its disused..
beautiful arches everywhere..
lucky i didnt need the loo... our options were limited..
winch of some sort from old Renault 4CV...
Cars bits everywhere mainly Renault although this Citroen Ami and Simca Aronde ended there life's here, although no roads lead here anymore..
my pic of the day..
brick built pit full of rubbish..
one of the many rotten shoots
the main building from up top...
most of the roofs looked like this ever tiled or untiled..
dunno what it is maybe a grinding machine of some sort..
main building from the bottom looking up..
piles and piles of this stuff some of the powder was bright red but most of it this colour.. to touch it was finer than plaster..
someone been before... dossers..
should be on the outside not the inside...
can you see it yet....
impressive, its very tall..
couldnt get a good pic of the mine sadly... very tight to get internal pics..
but it was deep, managed to count to 12 before a splash...
dont look up...
more pics here
we then stopped at Vaurly to see the church..
up one steep hill...
looking down
and up...
it was shut so couldnt find anything else out but it did have a paramic view, but as it was misty all day so i didnt take pics..
sad
but still an impressive church.. but wouldnt want to be the pastor walking up and down that ruddy hill..
enjoy
