Hi All

Only found this by chance as I was looking for a better location to take pictures of F15's at RAF Lakenheath.
The post is locked up tight and is inside a locked compound over looking the air base.

Thanks for looking Sorry there are no more pictures but I was in F15 mode not my usual bunker mode.
If you need more of a bunker fix go to my FlickR page @ http://www.flickr.com/photos/newage2/

Did ya get any F15 photos Newage - you know we'd really like to see those! Though it is interesting to see an ROC post that close to a major tactical nuclear airforce base (you would've thought that the Yanks would've let you in for a look)

Post location

Hi All

The Lakenheath ROC post is on public heath land to the west of the air base, also in the same compound
though I did't know what it was at the time is a WW2 orlit post.
The WW2 ROC post is just a small brick building not the raised sort on legs.

Just one point of interest the nukes went in 2008.

Cheers Newage
