I was in 2 minds if this was worth a post or not as its rather small, but u know what I love it!
I love it even more after todays visit which incidentally is why Im giving no location info...
We disturbed a barn owl on entry (this has happened more than once to me, with the last time my lad nearly getting hit in the face by one any of u guys experienced this? ) & 50 + owl pellets suggested this is a permanent roost!
Anyway on to the building, this is nestled in trees in the Northants countryside & Im pleased to say is completely untouched by graffiti etc.
But Im sorry to say I have no idea what this was! Obviously it was pumping water as its located near a stream, but there is no obvious properties that this was serving!
There is electric motors on the pumps that may be a later edition?
It feels Victorian! not easy to tell from the pics, but the floor is standard 6" checked quarry tiles & the walls are sandstone with lime green wash which Im sure in its day would of looked quite spectacular.
On with the pics, this was a combination of 2 visits over the last year, hope u enjoy!
