While I was out Green Laning on sunday, I came accross this little beauty.

This is what I found on the D.O.B. database

GRID REF: TQ 074 486
BUILT 1940/41 with clay brick & reinforced concrete.
5x Embrasures (4x LMG & 1x Rifle) covering the entrance.

Inside was in good condition

Good find but the photo's are not quite up to it, Can't you carry a compact camera in the 4x4. Looks like some one knocked the brickwork off one side.

I MUST get myself a compact. Thanks for the reminder. I USUALLY have my Fuji in the car, but not always. And those are the times I regret having to rely on my moblie.

Not often you see the interior whitewashed. Certainly not up here anyway.
