Pleasantly surprised to find this open again - it had been welded shut last time I came past. It's now very overgrown, and the post itself has been mostly cleared out apart from the bunks. There is a small brick hut from WWII built to shelter the crew.
The original ROC post is about half a mile away in a field overlooking the road to Hastings. The local aviation museum is run by ex-ROC members who said the post was moved because they couldn't see all the aeroplanes coming over.
