Hi I was bored the other day so I decided to pay Sacriston ROC post a visit. I've driven past it hundreds of times but never taken a look inside until now. On with the photo's...
The Gate - No climbing needed for this one.
The vent covers had been ripped off
The hatch cover was wide open when I arrived but was closed the night before when I drove past.
Inside...
And finally back to fresh air...
The site is in a lot better condition than I had expected it to be as most of the remaining ROC posts in County Durham have been burnt out. There were a lot of candles about the site so I am assuming the local chavs are having parties or tramps are sleeping down there. I think that being away from any large housing estates has helped to stop the vandalism to a degree. Sorry about the photo quality I use a point and shoot camera as those huge multi lense things that most people use are far too technical for me.
Thanks for looking... Jon
