Those are definitely either bent rail or vertical rail sockets complete with covers in pic 7 & 8. Part of a road block array. I've heard of them referred to as 'Hairpins' and 'Hedgehog'. To my understanding 'Salisbury' type is the collective name for blocks with combinations of bent rail and vertical rail. I believe they were built according to a general defence principle adapted to location.
They were considered an upgrade by Southern Command, for want of a better word, from 'horizontal rail' type. You might also find mine sockets.
