Ah I read about this somewhere else the other day, just can't remember where! Pure awesome! I didn't see it mentioned (or perhaps I'm very blind) but I read elsewhere that the shopping centre when it was built violated the building regs because it was built too high, so it was abandoned. Because it had no roof, it filled with water and the mosquito larvae got in there, so that's why the locals introduced the fish :D

I have been here when it was open and when it cought fire. It is not uncommon for developers adding extra floors to buildings whn building, thats why often a hotel lift will stop 1 0r two flors short but to add 7 floors, that is going a bit far even for the Thai's
