I can find very little about the age or the history of the building beyond at one stage it was sheltered housing and lastly a family centre. It's been completely bricked up for around 5+ years and is supposedly set for demolishing in the near future after on-going battles to remove squatters from the grounds. I've spoken to a few people who've been inside or squatted the place at various points and all have the mentioned the two-way mirrors inside the building and the general air of creepiness! Hoping to try and arrange a permission visit but asbestos has been mentioned as one reason why they want no one inside (after bricking it up and putting up the metal door there was a 24 hour security guard onsite along with the squatters/travelers)
The first picture was taken a couple of months before the others, but I forgot to take a proper shot of the front of the building on the august revisit.
(my friend and tour guided managed a spot of photobombing)
