On the way back from the Mill I saw this Derelict Church, All Saints built in the 1470s with a lovely Tudor Arch in the Tower which is the only surviving part of a once thriving Church. The other St Marys was nicer Architecturally but was locked. The Church that looks like a Cinema is The Catholic Church of the Permanent Succour! Try saying that with a belly full of Hobgoblin Ale!

B.S top shots, like the first ruined church and the last one is architecturally weird. :)

Good Pics Shuck - that last one isn't really a church at all, but looks more like a catholic chapel, probably built 19th Century. Its in the Renaissance/Roman style. Probably built by a rich fella after the emancipation of the Catholics in 1849 to celebrate the fact that he could worship without fear of being killed!!!!

Actually you are 100 per cent right mate. The building was built by a local landowner who lives in a nearby Hall. His Family was received into the Catholic Faith and he stumped up the money out of his own pocket and designed the church himself! It was built in 1898. Your historically right:)

Those are delightful, Blacky. Love seeing the differences in each...and the cherry trees are gorgeous.
Fab pics. :)

Thank you Foxy, it was a beautiful Spring day and I thought the Cherry Tree was a riot of colour and it was convieniently right near the gate. Made for a lovely shot. I was very pleased with how that one came out.:)
