Unfortunately I can't find anything online about this at all. Portugal is absolutely littered with abandoned villas, hotels, factories, houses, mines. I even visited an entire housing estate.
I'm not sure when this was abandoned. The recession of 2008/2009 saw quite a few projects terminated, and investments schemes collapse.
A local tells me visitors to the Algarve are down 50% on its peak. Another tells me that deceased estates are administratively cumbersome and often see things forgotten about. Whatever the truth, this is a million dollar view....
My partner wishing the pool was full and the bar was stocked...
From the air, you can see what a large site there is. There's also a guesthouse.

And a few of the inside. Looks to be four bedroom and three bathroom.
Not sure if they're swingers, but the hot tub was adjacent what appears to be a three head shower.
The roof appears to be in good condition - and despite graffiti, there isn't any real damage to the property, or even litter. Perhaps I could move in!
The location is at the cliffs near Porches. Praia do Pau is the closest beach, but parking for the beaches is a nightmare. I suggest walking a mile from town.
