OK then, gonna throw this into the mix.
It's definately derelict and has been part of Sheffield's history for over seventy years.
Not visible from the road in summer are a number of pidgeon lofts, built above the A61, on Cuthbert Bank on the way to Hillsborough. In use from before the 1950's. these coits have been unused for a number of years and are now in danger of collapse and or demolition as an eysore. Imagine the countless hours of pleasure brought to Sheffields pidgeon fanciers within these ramshackle buildings waiting for their feathery friends to return from some far flung shores.
It may be a northern thing and a tradition that seems to be dying out, not exactly my bag but, a part of this country's past and possibly something that needs documenting..... what do you think??

I really hope the last shot says " Dedicated to Grandad" in Chav, but I doubt it.........
