Hi I'm a new urbex explorer and only just recently got involved I've been trying to find some abandoned places such as the harold wood hospital that shut down but I can't find it has anyone got any tips on how to find places also if you know the location of the harold wood hospital please do tell thank alot -amz

Harold wood is no longer standing. It's now a housing estate called kings Park.

Hi and welcome to the forum. The best way to gain experience and to see new sites is to ask if anyone in your area is willing to let you tag along on an explore. You'll generally find that yields loads of invitations.

Please don't ask for site location or access info in the open forum however, it is specifically against the forum guidelines. Seems a bit strange I know given that the forum is for explorers, but the reason is that in the past many "bad actors" have gained access info that way then turned up and stripped the site of anything with any value, OR have graffed the place, vandalised it etc etc etc. So until people know you they won't generally give you such info anyway.

You could always join a different forum where the location has to be named .
You'll find alot more on there without all the hard work of searching for yourself
