Prior to my visit I had driven past this place several times and thought it looked a bit “shabby”.
Especially when this was on the gable end
Round the back I went, couldn’t believe my luck to find a kitchen window open, had the owner popped out for a pint of milk?
Slight damp odour, things not right, lots of clues to suggest it was doable.
Urbex hint no.1: if you aren’t 100% sure set a trap, leave and come back
If this was a football match it would be “a game of two halves”
It’s not, it’s a “ house of two halves”
Some bits showing signs of neglect
Others not
Some stuff packed up for moving?.......

Not sure why these delicate little things are on the door handle. I got the feeling that whoever had opened the window had posed a few things.
Interesting paperwork
The clothes and bedding were cold with the air damp and starting to develop that mustiness of being left.

I climbed out of the window and managed with a bit of wiggling to get the latch to fall and secure shut. The treasure was too good to be trashed or stolen.
I have subsequently heard this place is now trashed beyond belief.Well done umbexers and daytrippers.
