Runwell closed in 2010.
I had heard rumours of its demolition as far back at 2012, so it was time to see what was left.
Here is what I found
The 'tower' from a distance, note the demolished wing appearing as rubble.
And the interior
The main administrative building, complete with clock tower.
Inside. There was no access to this building, unless you are prepared to open a few bolted doors.
The final building still standing - the chapel.
Here is a shot of the inside.
I have a feeling that this place will be entirely demolished soon. Still well worth a visit for the intrepid.
