Not the most exciting explore probably, but don't think its been covered so thought I would share.
These pics are from a year or so back in miserable conditions so apologies in advance.
This was all part of the massive Northants Ironstone effort, the high structure is all that remains of the crusher, trucks would of been tipped at the high level & trucks below accepted to crushed rock & took them through tunnels to Irthlingborough.
The top is fenced now & the bottom is pretty overgrown, strangely the near vertical cracked concrete walls appeared many years ago in a 100 places in east Anglia to rock climb book I had lol
I believe fig 10 & 11 here show this actual crusher & this is a very interesting document.
Before you all get too excited the tunnels are long blocked however it is rumoured they are still there & just the ends are blocked
