(Sorry for the flood of reports - im posting up the ones I havent done yet, i've got one more to do once I find my other memory card)
This place is like my bad luck charm - the first time we didnt manage to get in, and the second time we spent around four hours walking all around Guildford, asking several people, having someone photocopy us a map, climbing a fence on a main road and generally being lost - however it was still a great day, we found some awesome shops that sold curiosity cola and sugar mice (yum!) and a camera shop that was full of tiny novelty cameras and the owner had a display case full of lego men holding weapons. Sometimes explores like this are the best.
To top it all off, we managed to find our way in, after dodging a Southern Electric van, we then got chased by police dogs that were training there, brilliant!
I did however manage to get some pictures:
The control room which I was relctant to enter due to it involving climbing pipes - on the way out I was told just to "jump off the pipes" by a friend who hadnt realised that the floor was missing below!
Cool telephone with the control stuff behind.
Some cool industrial stuff, we stayed up here hidden for around half an hour because we kept hearing very loud noises which sounded much like people walking around downstairs.
Different angle of the same machine
Not a place you'd expect to see so much greenery!
This reminded me of the Barclays bank waterslide.
Everything is so oversized!
And again.
There was some reason we didnt climb this, although after the events that followed I dont remember why.
The final picture, this was as we were trying to leave - dodging security, the buildings that still had lights on and the fear of finding those dogs again meant for a swifty exit!
Well thanks for reading all my reports guys, i'll visit some more places soon.
