I drove by this place whilst on a non UE day out nearby, got a bit lost and spied it as I drove by. It's a big site, but the buildings occupying it are relatively small. The old mill is architecturally the most interesting, though my exterior pics of it were few and sucky. The newer mill building is ugly outside, white plastic weather boarding, but interesting inside, also has two average sized silos out the back, nice country views from top.
As well as the two significant mill buildings there are various outbuildings that seem to have been seperate businesses. Some very modern, some very old, older than the old mill in one case, a fantastic barn that is begging to be an uber special house! Let's hope it's kept!
The entire site is up for sale as a commercial development plot, all the machinery in the modern mill has auction tags on it, but having closed in 1999 and the lot tags looking rather decrepid, I'm guessing the auction never went ahead?
It's worth a mooch if you're in the area, but not one to travel miles to get to.
