    Default Just for the buzz

Fraggs has a Rule...."I don't shit on my own doorstep"
and this really is on his doorstep
I however have no problem in shitting on his doorstep and I've been meaning to do this for ages so after work one day i nipped over with my old d3100 cus the beast is in for a radioactive decontamination

I am not doing the history as Im a lazy turd and both Landie man and mookster have just done it in their excellent reports and you should have been paying attention

    Explorey bit

The place was full of pikies, sorry, gentlemen with a penchant for shiny metal things that may belong to somebody else, when I got there ..so I took a chance and went and said hello and after some initial suspicion they were actually ok with me and we had a bit of banter so off I wondered.
As was mentioned in the other reports the place is stripped and getting even more so whilst I was there lol
Any how here's my take on this place

Now at this point my new found friends seemed to be getting rather excited, awww I thought they have just realised who I was and were getting all giddy..."oh here we go" I thought "I'm gonna have to start signing autographs" but then I thought I heard the word "suceraty" hmmm, maybe I'll have to disappoint them and leave before I can sign autographs.
so without any externals I packed my stuff and left the same way I came in, walked past the spikey gate only to see it was now unlocked and I could have just walked out ffs

As I walked back down the road in front about 10 seconds later secca ran toward me and then ran straight past me as I chuckled to myself, better luck next time sir...oh and you need to lose a few pounds as well fatty.

I actually really liked it here and may go back to finish off
    6.5/10

Looks good, liking your processing, and the experience sounds a bit like what happened to me at Turner's Asbestos in Rochdale a few years ago.

I've never seen the metal fairies steal the tops of fire extinguishers before, that's a new one!

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
