Default Shetland - Sumburgh ROC Post

Surprisingly good Post with lots left. I was fortunate to meet some of the ex-crew members and got the Post re-secured.

Very nice indeed, about as a good an original post as you're likely to find these days. Good work on getting it re-secured.

That's a nice tidy ROC post, but it looks like its being looked after.

This is the nicest ROC post ive seen that hasn't been restored. It has a big advantage of being so remote and the double advantage that chavs can't swim.

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
