This ruin lies next to a multi-use path so easily accessible by bike or on foot. The story with a link to its location can be found on the History Points page.

Nice little ruin that
Last year the building was fenced off as it is in dangerous state so access to the inside is not possible. A stone mason was supposed to be assessing the building to stabilise it but local knowledge states that this has not yet happened. There is a detailed well-researched book on the building which explains its history and has loads of photos of the inside and outside. It's not as good as being able to get inside the old place, of course.
 
Attached are four photos of Port Penrhyn when the Penrhyn quarry was still working. They were taken on 21 Oct 1961.
