this ones allways been a wet one and subbrit pumped it dry 2001

first time i went it was a good foot deep but when we arrived today it was only a few inches :confused

quite clear until we dunked it in the sump and all the sludge started coming through

safe to visit without wellies for the time being :thumb
 
bloody well done sam,as that is a nice post just was a shame was full of water by the way does the sump pump work ok i cant remember from my last visit
 
Now I can see what the thing on the wall s for now, the only one I visited had the sump covered mind you it was not worth the effort climbing down where as the one featured is.:)
 
We had been talking about pumping this one out for quite a while now, and today we finally did it :)

Generator made things easier!

A lot of water was getting in where the BT line comes in, so I put sealant around that earlier on in the year. That seems to have improved things, but im sure water is coming in elsewhere. Myself and Boothy also freed up the sump pump at that time, but it needs priming to get the suction and thats too much messing about. As for restoration, I think one post is enough for now lol. Would be nice to tidy this one up if it dried out and the smell went away, but I dont think its ever gonna happen :(
