After failing to get into Putney Hospital myself, Midnight Runner and Site decided to go spend a few hours in Cane Hill.

Was nice to get back and see the place again. Not much has changed since my last visit. Was a tense explore as we could hear security with their dogs on several occasions. We didn't hang around inside for long.

Here are a few photos from the afternoon...

Hi JB
Excellent pics. Love the very decaying window shot.
I've got a chair just like the one in the last pic...from a certain abandoned holiday camp in the town where I live (not obtained on an explore, I hasten to add! ).

top pics there, must try get to the hill at some point

little off topic do you have a small green stupidy quick car ?? ;)

Nudge nudge wink wink

Still cant believe those beds still there.

Simon-g

Same here, it's also odd that the sheets are still on them.

Were the laundry staff laid off a day early? or did the domestics make up the beds with clean sheets not knowing that wouldn't be used again?

Don't know when the place closed, but i bet patient confidentiality was broken with all those documents lying around.
When they closed rauceby, they stipped it bare, we had scrap metal specialists in for weeks just after closure and you'd be surprised at what was thrown, some stuff had only been bought the year before but because they had no home for it, in the skip it went.staff couldn't buy owt because they were frightened of litigation, I mean selling lethal light bulbs etc:)

Cane Hill is the worse offender i have had the plessure of seeing. Severalls is stripped of all paper owrk and even most furniture, same is true of Hellingly.

Some of the paper work makes interesting reading in Cane Hill :)

It's pretty terrible really, that kind of info is sensitive and deeply personal stuff, the NHS are a disgrace.

I would appreciate it if people kept details etc off the forum. I've already had one cease and desist letter from the NHS lawyers in the past month, I don't really want another! :)

Yeah but like a lot of sites paperwork is left lying around... Cane Hill along with Pyestock is the biggest offender... Im talking masses of confidential information just lying around for anyone to see... Krela not only is the NHS a disgrace.. but so is the goverment.. disgusting really to think someones parents or rest of their families details are strewn somewhere
