It would probably be more worthwhile writing to your local Derby MP regarding this.

Has the Judge announced his decision then? At the end of the hearing he reserved his judgment for a few days.

Derby Hippodrome

Although the full story has not filtered through to the local press etc.The council won an injunction to stop any further destructive work.They are going to employ "specialists"to remove the asbestos safety curtain in a controlled manner.

The best info I could find was on the theatres trust website.

The owner has also lodged a listed building planning application to demolish the place which the council have to feed through their machine.If they have gone to the high court then I assume they will refuse this application and present a strong case for doing so.

up to now 56 have signed we need more to do it please please pass it around it realy needs our support and as I'm shore i read in one of the right ups that some one has done one time that some one went in thay turned of the water because the place was getting flooded then how can det be saying that severn trent did the same thing on monday/tuse full info on tid website .
