Grimsby Docks ice Factory opened in 1901 for the making and production of ice,
at its peak the factory made 1200 tons of ice per day
this was sent across the road via 3 conveyer belts for distribution
closed in 1990.
This is thought to be the last remaining of its kind in the world,
is grade 2 listed.
The building and remaining machinery are in poor condition,
the building is on the at risk register and has been since 2008.
