Just to add that I've been interested in dereliction and ruined places for 30 plus years. When I passed my driving test back in the late 1970s, me and my old best buddy would take of in my ancient Landrover down to North Wales and explore the abandoned slate quarries. At the time we took hundreds of photos (transparencies/slides) but I wish we had taken more - so much of what we saw has now gone for good...
