Civic Centre, Ipswich Borough Council's former HQ, opened in 1972 and has been empty since last September 2007. Demolition has now begun to make way for a new "plush" retail area. Visted with FiedlyM, over looked by Ipswich Police who's constant fag breaks made over the edge shots difficult on their side 
Outstanding views of Ipswich, a fine place to watch the sun set and the night creep in.

Lots of lovely trip hazards on the roof
Off down into the basement we went, its very large with empty racks for Council paper work, racks and racks and racks, room after room, then down another level to the engineering section....

And his impressive three mates!
Not pictured but notable features include a large secure vault in the basement, with an even more secure vault within it, rather impressive combination lock/key lock doors and internal cage doors. Also the mother of all diesel fuel tanks that takes up two floors worth of height lurks in the basement.
